Some may say that they do not have time for inspiration, but inspiration is far more consistent than most people realize. Get started with your work, and the inspiration will come. It's important to make time in your schedule to be creative. Innovative ideas can be planned. I recommend that you have a notepad and a pen with you at all times. Whenever an idea pops up write it down. You might not think that this idea is worth writing a blog post about, but then again you do need to make that daily update and you need a starting point. When you get back to your computer start writing whatever comes into your head based on one of your ideas, chances are that it will guide you in the direction of something solid.

So what can we do to foster creativity? I find that when we are able to quieten the mind, we often discover an inner source of creativity and inspiration. Be sure to make time for yourself. Time to be creative and think wild thoughts. Plan for creativity just as you would for other essential tasks, and innovation will not be a lucky event.
